Scana ASA – Subsidiary sells remaining properties in Strand municipality

Sales contracts have been signed today for the sale of the remaining properties to Scana Property AS.

The properties in Strand municipality now being sold by Scana Property consist of the remaining land area connected to the steelworks site at Jørpeland, as well as a plot of cabin lots by Lake Liarvatnet, each to a separate buyer. The total sale price is NOK 22 million and will have a positive profit impact for Scana ASA of approximately NOK 13–14 million.

The transaction for the steelworks site is expected to be completed by November 1, 2020, and the cabin lot area by July 1, 2020. Once these land sales are completed, Scana ASA will no longer hold any properties in its portfolio. Scana will now focus fully on the development of its remaining subsidiaries and the further development of the company’s maritime strategy.
