Bergen, 20. October 2022:  Scana-owned PSW Power & Automation has entered into an agreement with Kongsberg Maritime for the design, production, assembly, and testing of a series of energy storage deck-house modules. The design phase has started, and the project will be finished by end of Q3 2023. This is a substantial contract (2) for the company.

PSW Power & Automation and its subsidiary Trans construction AS (ATC) have specialized in this type of projects, and we see significant synergy after the companies came together earlier this year.

“Through the past years PSW had close corporation with Kongsberg within hybridization of the marine industry. To be a subcontractor to Kongsberg Maritime for such projects makes it possible to develop our business together, and to deliver quality products at all stages,” says CEO in Scana, Styrk Bekkenes. 

(1) A sizeable contract is defined to be between NOK 10 million and NOK 50 million.
(2) A substantial contract is over NOK 50 million.
