Scana company secure new contract within energy storage

PSW Power & Automation has signed a contract for an energy storage system in the Netherlands. The PSW developed BQ-S battery system will replace or optimize the operation of traditional diesel generators and will be a significant contributor towards fossil free operations. This is a sizeable (1) contract for the company.

“Our battery system will be part of a Dutch customer’s rental fleet and will be used in a variety of applications from peak-shaving and back-up power or as a standalone off-grid solution. We are very pleased to once again being a trusted supplier of this technology”, says Eirik Sørensen, Managing Director PSW Power & Automation.

The project will start immediately, and delivery will take place within Q2 2024

  • A sizeable contract is defined to be between NOK 20 million and NOK 50 million.
  • A substantial contract is between NOK 50 million and NOK 150 million.
  • A large contract is over NOK 150 million.
