Scana company secures Riser and Cable Floating Jetty contract for FLNG project

Seasystems AS has signed a contract for the delivery of 2 floating jetties for gas risers and power supply to a FLNG project in Canada.

The floating jetties, which are based on a patent pending solution from Seasystems, ensure that the gas risers and power cables are not in contact with the seabed near shore, and provide them with a dynamically favourable geometry for long-term operation.

This is a sizeable (1) contract for the company. For Seasystems, the project starts immediately and will be delivered in 2027.

(1) A sizeable contract is defined to be between NOK 25 million and NOK 75 million.
(2) A substantial contract is between NOK 75 million and NOK 150 million.
(3) A large contract is between NOK 150 million and NOK 250 million.
(4) A very large contract is over NOK 250 million.
