Scana company secures substantial contract within emergency power systems

Bergen, 19 October 2023: PSW Power & Automation has signed a substantial contract for the delivery of a series of E-house modules. The project includes design, assembly and testing before shipment to customer location. The delivery will be part of an emergency power system for several data center terminals in Norway.

The contract includes a fixed element and variable element based on time and materials giving an estimated contract value of substantial size (2). The project will start immediately, and delivery will take place from Q4-2023 to Q2-2024.

“This contract, encompassing our capability within energy module production, is a testament to the position we are establishing in the market. It marks a significant contribution to the ongoing electrification journey,” says Pål Selvik, CEO Scana ASA.”

(1) A sizeable contract is defined to be between NOK 20 million and NOK 50 million.

(2) A substantial contract is between NOK 50 million and NOK 150 million.

(3) A large contract is over NOK 150 million.
