Scana company signs contract for topside E-house module
Scana-owned PSW Power & Automation has signed a contract for the design, assembly, and testing of a topside E-House module for an international subsea company. The module will be designed according to ABS regulations for offshore placement (US & Brazil) and will be equipped with electrical equipment as well as HVAC, passive/active fire protection, fire and gas monitoring, etc.
“In December 2021, PSW Power & Automation completed an acquisition of our long-standing partner Trans Construction AS, which specializes in the design of such modules, his contract shows that we together have strengthen our position in a growing O&G market,” says Eirik Sørensen, Managing Director in PSW Power & Automation.
“We are happy to see good activity also in the offshore market where we have a good foothold. The acquisition of Trans Construction strengthens PSW Power & Automation’s product offering, allowing them to take such turnkey projects,” says Styrk Bekkenes, CEO of Scana.
- (1) A sizeable contract for Scana is defined to be between NOK 10 million and NOK 50 million.
